The Beginning

The day I got it was very special, I looked at the truck and said "what a pile of shit, but it's got potential".

I immediately spray painted my foresight thought about the truck

That day we started work on the motor which had a blown head gasket. One mechanic, one shade tree mechanic and a buddy.

After about 3 trips to Napa and Kragen, steeling parts from a spare 22RE motor and two days of working on it the motor finally ran perfect and passed smog with flying colors.

This was the first articulation test, 12 whole inches of rock. Well, something definitely had to be done about that small number....
